I was on easy survival and I found that I could place ancient debris and mine it to get money and XP. If you do this continuously you get a lot of money and XP fast. I told the chat and they said that it would count as exploiting a bug. You only get XP from ancient debris with the job plugin so it is a feature. SO would that be against the rules or not? If this would count as exploiting a feature then wouldn't the ender man farm be exploiting how enderman attack endermites?

Hmm good question. It says in the rules “do not..... exploit broken game mechanics” so it seems like this mechanic might be a little broken... though I don’t want to get in a debate or act like I know it all

Hi! Quoted from Floofin’s thread, “Exploits; Why you get banned for using them”, this is our policy on job related exploits:
    “Job Related Exploits
c0w mentioned this in the replies, but any type of job related exploit (like placing down a block and then repeatedly destroying it in an AFK machine) can get you banned”

Just to add to this, endermites luring endermen is a Minecraft game mechanic, so therefore that isn't an exploit.

The jobs system in easy makes it difficult to explicitly define what is and is not an exploit. As a general rule, if you're doing something repeatedly in the exact same spot, it's likely an exploit. For example, placing and breaking rails as a miner, placing and breaking redstone as an engineer, placing and breaking logs as a lumerjack, AFK'ing at a stone generator as a miner, etc.

The jobs system is meant to reward you for the things that you would already be doing anyway just by virtue of playing Minecraft. For example, if you enjoy mining for diamonds, it makes sense to have the miner job so that you can get paid just for doing something you already enjoy doing.
